Sugarfoot Antiques is a mother and daughter owned business located in the
center of Historic Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Owners, Morgan Hawkins (daughter)
and Anne Eastlack (mother) decided to name the store Sugarfoot in memory of
Morgan's mother-in-law who passed away in 2000. Sugarfoot was the name that the
grandchildren called  her. In February, 2001 we started our business by selling
ephemera, that was custom framed by us, at craft shows. It didn't take us long to
decide to expand our business, so in April ,2001 we rented a little space in a small
antique mall of about 11 dealers. Within the three years that we were in that mall, we
expanded our space over five different times. In 2003 when we found out that the
mall would be closing, we knew what we had to do. We had to expand one more time
and open our own store, so on January 15, 2004 Sugarfoot Antiques opened it's doors
for the first time. And  we are enjoying every minute of it! Sugarfoot Antiques is a
part of a wonderful area in Historic Jacksonville Beach called The Shoppes of Fourth
Avenue South. In this 2 block area, just steps from the ocean, you will find a
wonderful group of stores. Everything from antiques, collectibles, accessories,
florals, boutique shops, gifts, clothing, a tea room, a coffee bar, and a beautiful bed
and  breakfast. It's all right here in one area, so come on out for a day of shopping and
leisure. Hope to see you soon.
